From Negros To Guimaras

So last March 31, we went to Guimaras Island via Negros (Pulupandan Port) and it's really pretty right? Parang autumn in Korea lang. πŸ’›

Guimaras Island is located between Panay and Negros and is one underated island. The island is famous for their mangoes, that too bad, I can't eat since it's one of my long list of allergies hahah! πŸ’”

Okay, BUT FIRST! Let me tell you how to get there from the route less trveled, which is in Negros. Most blogs kasi talks about getting there via Panay which can be a big factor why most Negrosanons are discouraged from exploring the island’s beauty. So here it is, let’s get started!

Everport Shipping is the ONLY shipping company that has trips to Guimaras and only has 2 trips a day. So friends, be on time!  Since it is a big ship, yes you guys, you can bring your cars yehey! Let’s admit it naman kasi, traveling is so much easier without commuting.

ADULTS- P 80.00
CAR- P 800.00 (for cars like Toyota Avanza, but price may change as to the kind of car you’re going to bring)

The advantage of taking this route is that, konti lang talaga kayo guys. You can have the ship all to yourselves. If you hate noisy crowds while traveling this route will really be to your liking hahah! The travel time took longer than expected (almost 2 hours and 30 mins) because the winds were a bit rough at that time. But low and behold here we are!

There are certain advantages if you bring your cars with you. First syempre yung comfort nyo, na kilala nyo yung kasama nyo, na safe yung belongings ninyo. Second you can also save rather than transferring to different vehicles from the port. And third pwede nyo talaga malibot yung buong isla if you have your own cars guys! Ang ganda ng roads nila and the scenery is to die for! Not to mention unli stop-over for picture taking hahah!

Eto nga lang ‘yung challenge guys, when we arrived there, there were no vans or jeepneys. Although I saw some habal-habals and tricycles outside. So I guess may schedule lang din yung mga jeepneys and vans from there but I haven't got the chance to ask na. If you know more about commuting from there, feel free to comment down below to help our fellow travelers. πŸ’–

I'm gonna write more about the places we went to in my next blog so don't forget to check that out.

THAT'S IT! SAFE TRAVELS! πŸ’•
